Sri Lanka won the 1st T20 against Australia by five wickets.

SL won the 1st game and take a 1-0 lead with great contributions from every member of the team. Skipper Angelo Mathews played a brilliant knock and finish the game for his team.

Australia won the toss and elected to bat first, Australia lost early wicket but David Warner played a fantastic inning he score unbeaten 90 runs in 62 balls and Adam Voges struck 25 runs to help Australia manage 137/3 in 20 overs. A good and tight bowling by Sri Lanka bowlers to restrict Australia at 137 runs.

At reply SL gets the total 139/5 in 18.5 overs and fantastic knock by skipper Angelo Mathews at the end and finish the game for his team he struck 35 runs in just 27 balls and that’s it SL won the 1^st t20 by five wickets.
